Elf Photo Clothesline

I'm constantly inspired by My Froggy Stuff's creations.  Today's elf printable is a Christmas version of her Tumbler Room photo clothesline.  There are sixty tiny Poloroid-style pictures to use for your own doll crafting, room decorating, or scrapbooking.  Watch My Froggy Stuff's video to see how to do the miniature clothespins and hang the pictures.

The original pictures came from the royalty-free website, Pixabay, and were gathered and formatted in my digital scrapbook program.  The miniature pictures are 0.8x0.7 but can be scaled up or down by changing the settings on your printer.  There is also a blank version and a captions version.




For the picture clothesline in my Elf house, I first mounted the pictures on paperboard with glue stick.  Next, I cut apart wood matches to create the clothespins (Froggy uses toothpicks) and glued them to the picture first.  It's a bit tricky to hang them on the line, because you have to think about where the rope would come out on a real clothesline.  I put my glue on the back of the picture exactly where the other side of the clothespin would be in a bigger version.  Lastly, I glued the string to the shelf.

100 Indoor Heavy Work Activities to Burn Energy

Homeschooling with Laura Ingall's Wilder and the Little House series

The kids and I started reading "Little House in the Big Woods" last week for the first time.  They're really enjoying hearing about life in the "old days" and all the ways that things were done differently 150 years ago.  It's been a very special time, too, because we all pile on the parents' bed for reading time and have some quiet time as part of our day.  It's been a great way to reconnect with them.
