Giant List of Watermelon Fun

-

I've been doing watermelon activities and printables on my blog for two weeks and this is the grand finale.  I asked my friends in the Kid Blogger Network to send me their watermelon crafts and sensory ideas for learning.  The most amusing thing for me about this whole series is that I'm very allergic to watermelon.  It is literally my forbidden fruit.  I just love all the green, pink, red, and black of these activities!  I hope you enjoy, too!

/> I've spoken on here often about how my kids love Science!  They ask a lot of questions, make observations, connect information, and always want to learn something new. Fortunately, we live in an amazing time, where kids have access to so many cool Science Toys that spark their curiosity and ignite their imaginations. I'm addicted at all things ELF!  I have about five printable projects and ten blog posts in the works.  Even though Christmas has passed, I can't stop working on Elf stuff! One of my current projects is a suitcase house for our Elf, so I've been working on decorations and accessories for it.  I had a lot of fun making the mini books.  I made some shaped books that can cover cardboard to make books that don't open.  I also made some slightly over-sized cookbooks with "real" recipes for winter Elf baking.  Lastly, there are two groups of coordinated, uniform books for a bookshelf.    I've already started assembling the books, and the kids think they're so fun.  These tiny books would be perfect addition to your Elf library or reading scene. For assembly instructions, I recommend checking out My Froggy Stuff's book making tutorial video .  In case you haven't heard the news, I love Froggy!  She's super creative, almost everything I do ...

Pun Party Themes "Luke was Adopted Too" ( Star Wars ) "Welcome to Our Zoo" ( zoo ) "We're Wild About This One" ( jungle ) "Wanted: Asleep or Awake" ( cowboy ) "Bee-ing Loved" or "Sweet as Honey" ( bees ) "We Found the Missing Piece" ( puzzles ) "Showers of Blessings" ( rain/umbrella/rainbows ) "You are My/Our Sunshine" ( sunflowers/yellow ) "You Color Our World" ( paint/color/art ) "Superman was Adopted Too" ( superhero ) "Our Family was Built by Adoption" ( construction ) "This is My Circus- These are My Clowns" ( circus ) "Love Changes Everything" ( me...
